Optifeed MCP · hosted, for AI assistants

Put your AI agent to work on ecommerce marketing

Ask in plain words. Your assistant reads your catalog, feeds and ad results, finds what holds them back, and proposes the fixes. You approve every change in Optifeed.

Or add a custom connector with the server URL:

https://mcp.optifeed.com/mcp

The Optifeed MCP

Your Optifeed account, inside your AI assistant

The Optifeed MCP is a hosted server that lets your AI assistant work with Optifeed. Ask what your catalog needs before a channel accepts it, read any product or feed, check whether AI assistants recommend your products, and start the fixes, all from the chat.

Works where you work

Use it in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, or any MCP client with OAuth.

Reads, and writes when you allow it

Read-only by default. Tick "Allow changes" and it can connect a catalog, create a feed, run a site audit and start AI proposals.

You stay in charge

Every proposal waits for your approval in Optifeed. Nothing reaches a live channel on its own.

What can you do with it?

Where does it run?

Hosted by Optifeed. Scoped by you.

Hosted endpoint

Connect to https://mcp.optifeed.com/mcp. There is no server to host or install.

Sign in with an email code

Enter your email and the 6-digit code we send. A new email can create an account in the same window. Then pick the one company the assistant may use.

Read-only unless you allow changes

Leave "Allow changes" unticked for read-only access. With it ticked, the assistant can create records without asking again, so give it only to an assistant you trust.

Revoke at any time

A connection lasts up to 90 days, and ends after 30 days without use. Revoke it under Connected agents on the Access tokens page, and it stops at once.

Safe by design

Optifeed proposes. You decide.

Your assistant can do the legwork. The decisions that reach your customers stay with you.

Never approves a proposal

The assistant gives you the link. You approve each proposal in the Optifeed web app.

Never touches a live channel

It never publishes to a live sales or advertising channel, and never changes your campaigns.

Never overwrites source data

Your source catalog stays as it is. AI values are proposals on top of it.

Stops at your AI budget

AI proposals spend your AI budget. When it is used up, the tool stops and nothing more is spent.

Product titles and descriptions are marked as merchant data, not instructions, and a connection reaches only the company you chose.

FAQ

Optifeed for AI agents, explained

What is the Optifeed MCP?

A hosted Model Context Protocol server at https://mcp.optifeed.com/mcp. It lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT work with your Optifeed account: your catalog, feeds, feed issues, ad results, customer segment counts, AI Visibility results and site audits.

Which AI assistants can use it?

Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex, and any MCP client that supports OAuth. Find Optifeed in your assistant's connector directory, or add a custom connector with the server URL.

Can the assistant change my feeds or my ad campaigns?

Only when you tick "Allow changes" at sign-in. Then it can connect a catalog, create a hosted feed, run a site audit and start AI proposals. It never approves a proposal: you approve each one in the Optifeed web app. It never publishes to a live channel, never changes your campaigns and never overwrites your source data.

How do I sign in?

The assistant opens an Optifeed page. Enter your email address and the 6-digit code that we send you. A new email address can create an account there. Then choose the one company that the assistant may use.

How long does a connection last, and how do I revoke it?

Up to 90 days, or until the assistant does not use it for 30 days. To end it at once, open Account, then Access tokens in Optifeed, and click Revoke under Connected agents.

Does it spend money?

AI proposals spend your company's AI budget. When the budget is used up, the tool stops with ai_budget_used and nothing more is spent. Proposals made before that stay ready for review.

How does Optifeed handle prompt injection from product data?

Titles, descriptions and other catalog text are marked as merchant data, not instructions. And a connection reaches only the one company you chose.

Is there a CLI?

Yes. The Optifeed CLI runs on macOS and Linux, logs in through the browser, and includes an agent skill for Claude Code and Codex (optifeed setup claude or optifeed setup codex). Windows is not supported yet.
